Honda launches the Civic GX Natural Gas Vehicle in U.S.
Honda launches the Civic GX
The Honda Civic is available as a coupe or sedan. Both styles share five main trim levels: base DX, LX, EX, EX-L and Si. The sedan also features DX Value Package, LX-S, Hybrid and GX trim levels. All trims get a broad range of safety features, such as antilock brakes, front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. In terms of premium features, the DX is pretty limited, and you’ll have to jump up to the higher trims to get amenities such as air-conditioning and power accessories.

One of the objectives of the grant funding is to have a greater impact around the nation with the BDPA Student Information Technology Education & Scholarship (SITES) program.
program which gives students in grades K-6 the opportunity to follow the daily activities of its research crew as they conduct research on plastic pollution found in the central Pacific Ocean. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology was added to the program to encourage high school students to participate. With GIS, high school participants are able to analyze and convert data collected into maps, illustrating where the plastic debris is found and where those locations are in relation to their schools. Participants post their findings on Algalita's website, allowing them to connect with other students from around the world.
